In New Delhi India there is a ministry run by Rodrick Gilbert and his wife Neetu called Mode of Deliverance. MOD began about fifteen years ago as a ministry to the poor in the slums of Delhi. Rodrick began with a handful of teenage boys who wanted to know more about God and who have now been trained to become powerful leaders of house churches. MOD has grown and multiplied into many thousands of house churches all over the north of India. Rodrick has several training centers where district leaders gather for teaching, encouragement, and sharing of results learning to teach the simple gospel of Jesus in their small house groups. Baptisms are often done in public places and at some risk of retribution from other religious groups.
Rodrick and Neetu live in Delhi with their three children, Srishti, known to everyone as Twinkle, Adesh and little Avijit.
